Hyfforddwyd y system cyfieithu beirianyddol hon gyda rhannau o gorpws cyfochrog cofnod y Cynulliad. Mae modd chwilio’r corpws am destunau penodol o’n wefan Porth Corpora Bangor

Mae’r cyfieithu peirianyddol hwn yn rhan o’n system gyfieithu ar-lein newydd ar gyfer cyfieithwyr. Mae’n cynnwys cof cyfieithu, system rheoli llif gwaith, yn ogystal â nodweddion ieithyddol fel gwirio sillafu a gramadeg Cysill.

O fewn yr amgylchedd cyfieithu ar-lein newydd, mae’r cyfieithydd yn cyfieithu fesul segment. Wrth weithio, caiff awgrymiadau eu cynnig gan y cof cyfieithu a’r cyfieithu peirianyddol, ac mae’r cyfieithydd yn rhydd i’w defnyddio, i’w golygu, neu i’w hanwybyddu.

Mae’r system ar waith yn llwyddiannus yn fewnol gan Uned Gyfieithu Canolfan Bedwyr ac aelodau staff Prifysgol Bangor (gweler https://cyfieithu.bangor.ac.uk) ers mis Medi 2012 ac wedi bod o gymorth mawr i hwyluso dwyieithrwydd yn y Brifysgol.

This machine translation system was trained with sections from the National Assembly record of proceedings parallel corpus. You can search the corpus for any particular text on Corpus portal website

This machine translation engine is part of our new online translation system for human translators. It consists of a translation memory, work flow management as well as linguistic features such as the spelling and grammar checking from Cysill.

In the new online translation system, the translator translates segment by segment. The system provides suggestions at each segment from the translation memory and the machine translation, allowing the human translator to decide whether to use, edit or ignore.

The system has been succesfully used internally by Canolfan Bedwyr’s Translation Unit as well as Bangor University staff (see https://translate.bangor.ac.uk) since September 2012 and has been of great benefit in facilitating bilingualism within the University.
